Project Name : omicro
omicro is a medium sized robot ball. You can operate it by bluetooth from a smartphone, tablet, Apple Watch.
This robot ball is made of sturdy plastic, so it is safe for children and pets to touch. Children and adults can be enjoyed. Also, this ball can turn 360 degrees on the spot. It also moves in a small area of the room. Takuya wants many people to enjoy assembling and customizing, so he aimed to make robot balls that can be made at low cost and easily change parts.
He hopes many people use omicro in the STEAM education class. So he would like to release robot ball as open source hardware.
