The Heart & Star LED badge is a sleek and innovative DIY project, designed with a slim profile of just 13mm in width. The badge, reduced from 17mm x 23mm to a compact 13mm x 31mm, combines advanced multicolor LED technology with a creative design challenge—making it both stylish and functional.
This tear-shaped badge features a reduced board size, achieved by shrinking the battery to fit within a φ30 mm surface. The entire badge is coated with UV resin for durability, and the switch has been cleverly moved to the back, maintaining its sleek design.
